Apart from my package pricing listed here on the Wordpress Packages Page, all other work will be charged at £25 (or US $40 if you prefer, based on currency conversion taken on 6th September 2009 of “25 British pounds = 40.9975 U.S. dollars”) per hour.
There is a minimum charge of £25/$40 (equal to one hour) which is required as a down payment before I start work on your project.
I will provide you with an approximate timescale for your project before starting, however accurately predicting how long a project will take is difficult until I have a full definition of what you need. So I’ll keep you posted with what the charges will be if they are going to be significantly more than I first quoted. That way there are no nasty surprises for either of us.
After the first hour, I work in half hour increments and will round the costs up or down to the nearest half hour as in the examples below.
Project A – quoted to take 3 hours = Proposed Cost £75.
It actually takes 2 hours and 43 minutes.
You will be charged for 2 hours and 30 minutes = Actual Cost £62.50.
Advance Payment of £25 – final payment of £37.50
Project B – quoted to take 3 hours = Proposed Cost £75.
It actually takes 2 hours and 51 minutes.
You will be charged for 3 hours = Actual Cost £75.
Advance Payment of £25 – final payment of £50.
Project C – quoted to take 2 hours = Proposed Cost £50.
It actually takes 2 hours and 14 minutes.
You will be charged for 2 hours = Actual Cost £50.
Advance Payment of £25 – final payment of £25.
Project D – quoted to take 2 hours = Proposed Cost £50.
It actually takes 2 hours and 21 minutes.
You will be charged for 2 hours and 30 minutes = Actual Cost £62.50.
Advance Payment of £25 – final payment of £37.50.
Repeat customers will be charged at £20 (or US $32 if you prefer, based on currency conversion taken on 6th September 2009 of “20 British pounds = 32.79800 U.S. dollars”) per hour.
